Things You Used To Love That Aged Badly

I watched a few episodes of Spiderman Tas (the cartoon from the 90's) for the first time since I was a kid and its aged HORRIBLY! It's paced so fast, you can tell it was designed for kids with ADD

I used to watch batman tas and power rangers in the mid 90's

I used to play that game soooo much when I was a kid. I wiped the dust of my n64 and booted this bad boy up.

I turned it off and went to play the ps3 after I loaded the actuall game

Power Rangers all the way.

Im gonna disagree with you on Spiderman :P I still think its the best motion version ever made and I can't see it being bettered. I used to watch those with my little brother :D fun times... I guess if you watched them as a young kid they would seem completely different maybe idk, personally I still get a kick out of seeing the odd thundercats or ulysseys.

Where's Pokemon? Everybody was watching it on TV and it was crap.

In hindsight both were pretty awful shows...

Why is dbz on this list? I'd still watch the show. Power Rangers is the only show that really sticks out.

Good call on the poll. Power Rangers popped in my head the second I read the thread title.

Saved by the bell still plays and I watch it when I can. Its still cheesy and cool now as it was back then.

I had a jar of cheese one time. We'd make nachos together, go for long walks on the beach, etc., but one day... I don't even want to talk about it anymore. Too much pain..:cry:

lol same here. i remember getting up really early in the morning to try and catch that show as a kid.

It was such a let down. Someone posted on FB that it was on Netflix instant stream so I had been excited all day for a night of nostalgia. I turned on the first episode and just about vomited. I can't believe I loved that show as much as I did as a kid.

Star Wars: Dark Forces for PS1. I thought that game was awesome with extra cool pickles when it came out in '96 but I downloaded it from PSN a couple weeks ago and...well...Its now one of the worst games of all time for me.

I had to go with power rangers I loved them as a kid and even went out in a power rangers costume for Halloween one year, yes I am a bada** 8)

but sadness when I look at them now :cry:

What are you talking about? You've jumped to some pretty quick conclusions about what kind of person I am based on me saying Zelda aged badly. The show is just annoying to me now that I've grown up with "Excuuuuuuuse me princess" being a great example of that. It might have been funny when I was a kid but now it makes me wince. It has nothing to do with explosions or CG.

None of those shows make me nostalgic. Dragonball Z and Batman were OK. The other three shows just plain suck.

The N64. Man did I love playing James Bond Goldeneye.

Season 1 and 2 of digimon. Though I still love it, when looking at the show now, it just seemed to run at a far too slow pace than I thought it did.....tocool340
