Squir's are good for beginners, there ''buget-fenders''.
I have a Squir fat strat and i'm very positive about it.
Ibanez also has a good starter set: http://www.ibanez.com/eg/series.aspx?s=jumpstartEG (with amp!)

I've never heard of that brand. But to be honest, it probably doesn't matter what brand of guitar you get when you're just starting, because really, you're gonna suck :P.
I suggest getting an acoustic guitar though; you don't have to buy an amp and cables, and since it's harder to fret the notes, your fingers will become stronger than if you start out on an electric.

Like everyone says get an acoustic I agree. Though if you really want an electric. Spend just a little more and get a Godin.
