It's indie folk. Jose's guitar playing and song writing is beautiful.

Still haven't heard his first album though.

Is he the guy who had the song on that commercial where they drop thousands of bouncy balls down a street in san francisco?

Cuz that was a cool commercial. Yeah.

I've heard so many good things about that album and always meant to listen to it but never have.

And yes do check him out. The album is so chill. I'm going to see him next week at the Museum of Fine Arts. That makes me a happy lobster.:)

Music can inspire someone, it can change the way you see the world. It can provoke thoughts and feelings. Or maybe it was the album he was listening to when he got laid.

I guess it varies for different people...

You lucky...

Also check out Private Press, another great album by DJ Shadow.

You can also check out The Outsider, which is another album, but it was a big let down to be honest. Not many Shadow fans like it.

No,don't.The Outsider was horrendous. It didn't even seem like Shadow actually made it...except for This Time(I'm gonna try it my way). All his other albums are just mind blowing, though.

About that DJ Shadow album, I've listened to quite a number of songs from that album and I just don't get what the big deal about it is. It seems very uninteresting to me, I'm probably missing something.

Anyway, I'll check out that Jose album. This one changed my life.

I listen to a lot of music, but I would have to think long and hard about which album, if any, really changed my life. I would say that certain artists changed my life before I say that an album did.

I probably wouldn't have it in my top 10 fave Hip-Hop albums anymore but this is the that album definitely had the biggest impact on me

Totally mellowed me out big time and got me into Hip-Hop, made me a serious music listener.

Who knows? Music gives you new perspectives sometimes, can change the way you think and therefore act if you take it seriously enough.
