I heard on the radio that a man at Wal-Mart was TRAMPLED to death when he opened the doors....

Really someone dies all because you wanted 20% off an IPOD or something? If you ask me all those people should have been banned from the store for killing that guy. Or arrested for manslaughter.

Just like we should stop the NFL because once a year or so a rookie paralyzes or severely injures themselves! Or ban skateboarding and snowboarding!

This stuff is partly the stores' fault. There's a reason why some stores, like Best Buy, give out tickets for items to people waiting in line hours before the store opens. That way there's no stampede of people trying beat everyone else to an item because if you have a ticket you're guaranteed that item and if you don't have a ticket then you just don't get what you want. I mean, what retard of a manager (store, reigional, or corporate) uses a "race for it" policy? gameguy6700

Millions of people die in car accidents every year. Should we demolish all the roads and destroy all cars so that this no longer happens? People drown, should we ban pools? Of course not, the solution to safety problems isn't to ban the activity, it's to implement proper controls and precautions. We require the use of airbags and seatbelts when people drive, require that people follow a set speed limit, and have a plethora of other traffic laws that are intended to keep auto accidents to a minimum. We prevent drowning by posting lifeguards and setting rules at pools and beaches. And in the case of hyped up store sales we should require a ticketing system and proper crowd control rather than the anarchist "every man for himself" policy that some stores still insist on using.
