That's the claim that the losing side of this election will make, and you know what? They're right.

To an extent. People have been shown to be voting for Obama based purely around the fact that he's part black, regardless of the policies he suggests. I would put forth that there is a fair amount of white guilt involved in the support for Obama, but that's just my prerogative and means very little.

Source (FUNNY)

On the other hand, there are some Americans who simply are not ready for a black president. For example, the KKK has been growing in numbers recently (and I'd bet a penny I can predict how they'll vote).

KKK Source

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that the election will be based on race entirely, but I think the people who are examining policy instead of personality or skin color are pretty significantly outnumbered.

Got it from dictionary.com:

Racism: a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.

I strongly disagree. I think the number of people who will or will not vote for Obama because of his skin color is minute and will cancel each other out. This country is in a world of hurt right now, hopefully that won't be the deciding factor in such an important election.

Racism is mostly composed of stereotypes. Even if they are very week stereotypes. For example most people will probably feel less comfortable standing in-front of a Roma person in a bus, than a British person with a British accent. However I don't believe everyone is a racist.

lol Bungie you fail the only thing you have proven here is how much of a RACIST you are.. Blacks historically have always had more liberal/democratic views in the United States for odvious reasons, and the majority statistically have usually always voted straight ticket democratic or a political view that is similar.

Umm...I said "primaries," do you know what those are? In the Democratic primary there were two top democrats, one was black and the other was white. Black people overwhelming voted for the black candidate. Coincidence?

And it's not just in this election. In almost every election where there is a black candidate and a white candidate, blacks disproportionally vote for the black candidate, regardless of party. I love in MD, one of the blackest states, and the only reason we elected a Republican governor was his black Lt. governor, Michael Steele.

There always be an element of racial prejudice in the election.

Hell, millions of people are voting.

But still, I don't think too mcuh should be looked into this aspect, unless of course it is revealed that this is occurring in large numbers.

Over simplification the only evidence you have to show is circumstantial :| , this isn't to say that some are doing it.. Most likely some people did.. But you are oversimplifying it and stereotyping.. Which is making look like your racist.. In a debate you would be laughed out for not providing any real evidence, while at the same time showing how racially bias you are.

And I believe it was you and many other supporters of McCain who claim "Obama is the most liberal senator".. Surely that could have played a role.

You can be racist without being racist AGAINST someone. %95 of blacks are voting for Obama, yet many in the liberal media are saying that if you question his experience, you are being racist. Listen to this

You can be racist without being racist AGAINST someone. %95 of blacks are voting for Obama, yet many in the liberal media are saying that if you question his experience, you are being racist. Listen to this

I've never heard the liberal media say that questioning Obama's expierence is racist. I've heard that rediculing his expierence as a community organizer is racist, but that's not questioning his experience, that's demeaning his experience.

And to comment on that video, yes it is sad that there is a minority of voters that are completely uninformerd, but that is what the electoral college is for. And you also have a minority of voters who didn't vote for Obama in the primaries and who won't vote for him in the general election because he's black, so in a way they cancel themselves out.

lol Bungie you fail the only thing you have proven here is how much of a RACIST you are..

I know a lot of white people who are voting for Obama just because he is black. Does that make this racist toward there own race?

You are being racist towards blacks.. YOU are suggesting that the majority of them know little about politics and are mainly voting for the color of his skin instead of politics..

I NEVER stated that I believed a majority of them didn't know policy, but I do believe many are voting because of skin color. Me stating statistics and drawing a seinsible conclusion is not racist. If I learned that 95% of whites were voting for McCain, me and probably most media would believe it was due to skin color.Nice try, but you fail.

Ah those are true. Cafferty on CNN said that if he loses, it's because of racism. About the %95, do you have other stats?

The majority of Americans know little about politics, but its safe to say that black people, especially those in the inner city, know less than the average person.

This is a blantent stereotype and the proof of burden is on you.. You are clearly racist.. I suppose the states that has been republican for decades as majority is racist for swinging over to the democrat side for the first time now that Obama is running?
