Also, it's not thousands of people, literally millions of people believe in this kind of stuff. It's also not unique to the US, in many latin american countries they have "believers" similar to this. Every few years or so, someone see's the virgin mary in things like toast or on a wall, and literally millions flock to the site to touch it and cry like fanatics.dnuggs40On the news there was this soiled bed sheet that looked like the virgin mary and everyone went crazy over it. I kid you not.
Reminds me of the ATHF episode with that billboard with the face of jesus in it. And meatwad giving it 5 bucks for pizza :D.Jelle87

could you give me a link if its on youtube?Ok first off I'm not here to bash a particular belief but to tell you something. I was chanel surfing yesterday when I see this guy who "heals " people. I believe his name is Benny Hinn or something ( I saw this guy other times too) and he makes people faint like wth is that it's so obvious is fake but the thing that bothers me more are the thousands of people that are there live believeng in all of this crap. turgore
It is getting pretty bad. It's sad that people are drawn into believe it's true to. I don't doubt that miraculous things can happen, but a lot of televangelist faith healers are fake.

There you go, nice site btw.
Hey even if he's a fake..and it helps the person, I am all for it.
If it helps people feel secure, I am all for it.

I kinda believe in miracle but not like this and they are kinda science related. I think that people can heal themselves from cancer and similar diseases....it has something to do with the body and human mind , not healers.
I saw him on CNN. I don't understand why everyone falls over. jim_shorts
everyone falls over because they think they have to fall over. its like mass hyponsis but more of an unconscious level.

It's criminal.. it shouldn't be allowed
i think hinn has been investigated many times but since he's considered a minister or a preacher or something, despite the massive profits he's making for himself, they consider it to be ok. it really is ridiculous

Haha, I actually went to one of his 'crusade' with my brother one time. My bro was really into that stuff and so I went to keep him company. When it came time for the crowds to start their act, my bro was like 'get ready.' It was like everyone was doing the wave, but in reverse. People on one side of the room started falling, and then it moved evenly along the seats until it got to us. Well, there was this woman who grabbed my hand, because Benny Hinn told everyone to hold hands, and anyway when she 'fell'(sat down) she tried to pull my down with her, pulling on my hand as she sat down. I just stood there and my brother did too.
We were pretty much the only ones still standing in our section so that was pretty weird. My bro pretty much stopped believing all that stuff was real after that.

No, he's worse; people have become brainwashed into believing that he's actually doing what he says he is. If anything, Christians should condemn him because he acts like a false prophet.

Haha that was awesome
Criticism and Controversy
In March 2005, Ministry Watch, an independent evangelical organization which reviews Christian ministries for financial transparency and efficiency and advises potential donors accordingly, issued a Donor Alert stating that "the reported exorbitant spending of the Hinn family reveals that BHM has far more money than it needs to carry out its ministry" and advising Christians to "prayerfully consider withholding contributions to Benny Hinn" while praying for his restoration and repentance.[5] Benny Hinn Ministries is not a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.[6]
Hinn lives in an ocean-front mansion valued at an estimated $8.5 million in an exclusive gated community in Dana Point, California, travels by private aircraft, and stays in hotel rooms costing upwards of $3,000 per night.[7] In December 2006, he sent out a mailing asking for donations towards a new Gulfstream G4SP jet valued at an estimated $36 million.[8]
