Wow... that's crazy. Reminds me of Katrina. I have pictures of boats on flipped upside down on top of houses. Cars on top of houses. Houses moved off of their foundation just sitting 2 blocks away in the middle of the street. Rushing water does crazy things... incredibly destructive.

Looks like an orlando studios ride. All offensive jokes aside; that's one hell of a disaster I wonder if sometime in the distant future Japan will just be completley submerged. Hope they recover as swiftly as possible.

Watching these raw videos are scary because I keep thinking I'm going to see someone being pulled down the current and out of reach of help.

When that video begins, there are cars RACING to get away from the water. A couple minutes later, there are cars and boats and HOUSES floating down the street.

Un-freaking-believable.

It's amazing how the water just creeps on up to you. For the first minute it was only about an inch or so deep, then after just 5 minutes its sucking cars and building pieces away.

I watched that video last night. It's crazy. It's almost like it doesn't seem that bad at first but then it just keeps coming and coming until cars and buildings are floating away. The sheer force of it is truly astounding.

Amazingly destructive. Mind boggling how quickly it built up. First just a trickle and then it's dragging along buildings and cars like they're nothing.

that was pretty intense. started out barey any water on the ground in front of him, then he had to move to higher ground. that water rose quickly!
