What it should be - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emYqURahUKI

Dragonball Evolution Trailer - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJ_gVa6pAIY

Instead of making an "mainstream" more kid friendly versian with dumb humor and lazy setting and character changes, they should have made it like the Japanese live-action adaptation of Casshern. Now I know you don't know what Casshern is (neither did I until I randomly found this video 10 minutes ago), but it used to be a 70's action sci-fi anime. What do you think? Do you like the movie as it is?

No. Dragonball should have been left alone as a cartoon. Period.

Its a great movie if anyone gets a chance to see it, although it honestly reminds me a bit more of Final Fantasy then Dragonball.

If fans can make stuff like this, the movie had no excuse as far as I'm concerned. Something similar to that would have even been good enough for me.

Yes the Dragonball movie should had been made by the Japanese, that was an epic scene with far over the top action, exactly what dragonball is. We can all only dream.

Wow....if that team had been given half the budget that I'm sure Dragonball Evolution had, it might actually turn out to be a decent flick. :|

Far out, very impressive. The team that did that vid are all masters. Hollywood should take lessons from them.

I can't believe they can compare that american movie to the anime. I've only seen the trailer, but the characters are nothing like in the anime. Does anyone know if the main character goes super saiyian in the movie? Or even if they are saiyians at all?! The characters don't even have spikey hair! I mean, that's how you notice the difference between that anime and the others.

So true. It is not really a dragon ball movie at all. More like dragon ball rip off.
