Parliament Debate

Look at that. All the memebers are in the room, and the two parties are debating with each other. And even their leader is there, forced to represent his party and be the leader of the debate. There are no staged questions, and there is no phony to answer the questions for the leader. And both the parties are there jearing or cheering the leaders. It actually makes the Prime Minister seem like he is part of the governement and contributes to it.

In the US, the President almost never joins in debates or answers straight questions. Almost all answers are prepared. And when you see a member from the House debated, you'll be lucky to see 10 people in the seats watching. There is no energy or anger. You see Parliament get excited and full of energy and really become part of it. It seriously IS a debate.

Also, look how entertaining it is to watch them! If you dont agree with what i said above, you can at least agree that watching Parliament debate >> watching Congress debate. That is seriously a borefest.

America could blow up the entire world and no one would even know what happened. And we have an idiot running our country and we could still do this! Also we are the only remaining superpower in the world.

This is why America>Everyone else (including England and ESPECIALLY Canada!)

From What I've seen most Americans have trouble finding IRAQ a country they invaded on a map, I'm very doubtful you would be able to articulate a full scale assualt successfully on the whole planet let alone find the rest of the planet

Another reason why people fight over nothing. Where's your proof? Where's your statistics?

The human race is basically full of bullhonkey. Everyone wanting to be better than others, no one supporting anything, people making fun of others because of where they live, who they are or what they do... I do not blame one country alone. I blame the whole earth. I know the world will never change, but some people who are in their 20's and 30's bad mouth other countries because they are different. Those people need to GROW UP.

I'm not blaming anyone here, but from the many, many, many threads of religions, politics, and government, people seriously need to grow up.

oh, poor, poor Whicker, what was there to come back with on? You made no point at all. At least we have some balls and invaded a country. Your country (I'm assuming you are from England?) pulled back and couldn't even help us.

That's right. Gearge W. Bush, one of the dumbest rednecks on the planet, singlehandedly signaled the liberation ofan entire country while taking unlimited amounts of criticism from many Americans and other world leaders, including yours.

So, I ask again, what was there to come back on?

Very good chica, and that is what your post looks like. A very stupid way of saying that our debate is dumb. If you don't like it, simply don't read them, and don't bother posting either.

Hee's a quote for you, my friend:

"It is better to be silent and thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt."

So just don't speak, for your own good.

That's an argument? Wow. Really? It looks like bickering over nothing. Noth-ing.

This is why America>Everyone else (including England and ESPECIALLY Canada!)

That's pretty much a useless opinion.

~~"From What I've seen most Americans have trouble finding IRAQ a country they invaded on a map"

He has no proof. Why even say that statement?

~~"From what I see, you have trouble finding a correct place to input commas and correct grammar, so don't hate on us."

Basing stupidity on typos? How very debatable.

~~"Not when you have a bunch of idiots occupieing that space."

Since everyone is judging people on typos, please use the "Check Spelling" button before pressing "Submit".

That's not a debate. That is an argument on silly mistakes, and now you two are fighting over nothing. Phail.

There is no better country. Also, if I were to actually chose the better country, I would chose Whicker because he does not spill out plain, rude comments.

Rude is a point of view, as is better and worse, which is why I'm not expecting to change anyones opinions or mine to be changed. I'm just letting mine be known.

I thought that was the basic definition of a debate. Please, let me know if I am wrong.

I am a US citizen and I'm actually a fan of watching the British Parliament mainly because they actually partake in a debate. It's also really neat at the beginning of the year's session that they all dress up and the Queen comes out to make a speech. That's very cool to see everyone in a ceremonial event like that. The US government is so boring and doesn't even take on issues people are interested in. The president is just a publicity figure...

Also, look how entertaining it is to watch them! If you dont agree with what i said above, you can at least agree that watching Parliament debate >> watching Congress debate. That is seriously a borefest.
