Other than the tackling and the fact that you can score by kicking a ball through though two bars, I fail to see how they're similar.

Of course it's more dangerous. In football you probably have about a 40% chance of being injured, in soccer, you have a 100% chance of being injured in the post-game riots.Darth_Tyrev

I didnt say it wasnt manly, I have total respect for those football players. Rugby is a different kind of manly, a real man as in a man we can more relate to manly. Football players are freakishly huge even without their pads. Rugby players are more natural huge, a huge which we are impressed by, but still wouldnt mind having a drink with them. The new zealand all blacks for exampel are big guys, but they go to the same pub everyone else does and dont get that hero worship thing that a lot of football players get. I have nothing against football players and I dont know if you will understand my point, but dont think I cant appreciate football:)
