GAHHH! At my high school homecoming, after the dance just started, some people were freak dancing (there are always a few that do that) and the whole dance was cancelled! We didn't get our money back or anything! And they are considering cancelling all the other dances for the WHOLE YEAR. I AM SO PISSED. Has this ever happened to any of you?

Oh those faculty members would be all over eachother if no one was there to sheppard them around like the church or other groups who think they know what "decency" is.
And I didn't really pay attention to what others were doing.

I Only noticed because all the faculty were yelling at them and flashing flashlights in our eyes to make sure we weren't raping each other (the lights were off)
I think that is pretty assanine by the faculty though. To cancel ALL the other dances. Cmon. I go to a Catholic school and I dont even think that would happen to us.
Complain, ask your parents to if you have to, otherwise, take it in your own hands. That money is yours, not there's, even if you need to go to state court...
There were at least 300 people standing outside of my high school shouting 'This is Bull-S#@&!!!' in a syncronized fashion for about 5 minutes. They know how we feel.
i feel like most people realize sooner or later that school dances suck. anything that is supervised by teachers and parents will be boring. kids are kept in check and did i mention the crappy music. :lol:
who cares about lame dances. get together with your friends, get a bunch of girls to come and make your own party. just be careful who you let in. some moron can mess it up for everyone.

Ha, I remember at the homecoming game at my school when I was a junior, 3 friends and I had spent a year building a go cart out of metal and a sweeper engine. We cut the locks, drop it off the bed of my truck, drove around the field one time with a big CSR and a huge American flag on that back. Then, we dipped out the back gate out of the field to get away from security.
