Hope you guys are having a great 3-day weekend so far.
Labor Day weekend is the official end of summer, and traditionally, one of the weakest weekends of the year. Most new openings aren't high grossers, and it doesn't look like it'll change this year. So far, none of the new offerings seem like it'll take the top spot from The Final Destination, which will like be #1 for a second week. All About Steve has opened to very brutal reviews and $11.2 mil, taking second place. Gamer has taken 4th with $9 mil to show for it's efforts, and Mike Judge's latest movie Extract has placed at #10 with $4.1 mil.
Next week gives us Tyler Perry's latest movie I Can Do Bad All By Myself, the animated feature 9, Kate Beckinsale stars in the suspense thriller Whiteout, and another remake of an '80s slasher film debuts, Sorority Row.
