The full chart is available on Box Office Mojo.com:

1The Hangover$33,415,000$105,389,000

2Up$30,515,000$187,179,000

3The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3$25,000,000$25,000,000

4Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian$9,600,000$143,447,000

5Land of the Lost$9,153,000$34,980,000

6Imagine That$5,700,000$5,700,000

7Star Trek$5,600,000$232,028,000

8Terminator Salvation$4,695,000$113,831,000

9Angels & Demons$4,200,000$123,300,000

10Drag Me to Hell$3,864,000$35,146,000

Last week was a close race between Up and The Hangover, with the latter just beating out Pixar's latest film. This week has a clear winner, with The Hangover in the top spot for a second week in a row with an estimated $33.4 mil, and Up taking #2 again with an estimated $30.5 mil. As far as the new movies that opened Friday, the remake of Pelham 123 hit third, and Eddie Murphy's latest has hit the wall with a mere $5.7 mil.

Next Friday looks like a pretty dismal weekend full of mediocre comedies. Jack Black & Michael Cera star in Year One, Sandra Bullock tries to jumpstart her career in The Proposal, and Woody Allen's latest film Whatever Works opens.

So...what did you guys see?

EDIT: Also, what do you recomend, and what shoud we avoid? I'm always interested in your opinions.

Both of those are on my must see list. I'm gonna wait to see Up until it's released on Blu-Ray; the reason being is that I don't wanna have to be distracted with the little kids in the theater.

I've heard a lot of good things about that film, but it seems like not a whole lot of people went to see it. I might catch a matinee of it this week, time permitting.

I've seen the Hangover, The Taking of Phelham 123, Drag me to Hell, Terminator Salvation.

Hangover deserves to be up top. The Taking of Phelham 123 was okay because I expecting so much more. Really need to see Up.

In all honesty I didn't like it and I liked the what I seen of Evil Dead.

I had my hopes really high and came up dissapointed. People in the theater I was in pretty much agreed with me too.

I've seen Star Trek and Drag Me To Hell in the theater this summer, they were both great movies. Most of the movies I'm interested are indy films so I don't go to the theater for my movies often.

Of that list I've seen Star Trek, Up and The Hangover.

Up is by far the best film on that list, followed by Star Trek, and then The Hangover.

DONT! i thought it seemed good too but they try to be super bad and pineapple express. There's very littl laughs most of it seems like a bad knockoff of the super bad cast and such. horrible movie.

Drag me to hell has odd humor in the middle of the "scary parts" but still a good movie. You can jump at something and 5 secounds later your laughing at it.

It's great that Up is doing so well, too... Considering most companies doubted Pixar would be successful with a film about an old man...

Pixar seems to deliver quality films just about every time. Not too many production companies are as consistent as they are.

Nothing to do with the quality of the film, really. I just normally don't see comedies at the cinema. I'll rent them or watch them on the plane, but somehow it never feels important enough to catch at a cinema. It's really just me.

On that list I've seen Star Trek, Taking of Pelham 123, and The Hangover. I had no expectations for The Hangover (I actually wanted to see another movie that night) but it surprised me and I found it to be very funny. Star Trek was really good but maybe a bit overhyped. The Taking of Pelham 123 was alright. Denzel Washington really made the movie with a good performance. I haven't seen the original Pelham 123 and I probably wouldn't have liked it as much if I had.

I also want to see Up when it comes to DVD and really hope I get a chance to see Drag Me To Hell in theaters. I've heard only good things about Drag Me To Hell but it's only showing in one of the two major theaters in my area and only has 1 or 2 showings per day so I doubt they will keep showing it much longer.

It seems to be the surprise hit of the summer so far. No one expected it to do so well, especially beating a Pixar film the same opening weekend.

Out of that list I've seen Star Trek, Terminator, Drag Me to Hell, and, surprisingly, Night at the Museum 2 (since i saw the first one and Amy Adams is hot). Star Trek and Drag Me to Hell were absolutely fantastic, but for entirely different reasons.

I have actually been watching a lot of Eatwood's movies lately on AMC as they have been playing a bunch of them in attempts to get people to buy Gran Torino. I was going to buy it anyways but still its been good.

The Hangover is nothing special. Nothing you've never seen before. If you're a fan of comedies, then you already know what to expect from The Hangover.

I would not say The Hangover is a "must-see" for everyone, but if you're a big fan of comedies, then yes you may enjoy it.
