Borderline misogynistic trash. Poorly written and a poor film as well. One of those things which would be better off not existing in the world.

What was the saying? "J.k Rowling proved that some young-adult novels could be over 500 pages, Stephanie Meyer proved that some shouldn't".

Call me a ponse, but I actually enjoyed the film. I went with a friend because she didn't want to go on her own and I can't say I regret going. :P

Not as bad as I expected, mainly because I so did not want to watch it, hell I was willing to watch High School Musical 3 over it.

There weren't any vampires. None. And it was just a wet dream that the author decided to share with everyone. There was a contest for Edward Cullen look-alikes (and other characters) at some point and there's this picture floating around of Stephanie Meyer in a huge red dress standing next to two rather indifferent boys half her age. Plus, if you take out descriptive adjectives in relation to the characters' stunningly good looks, the books are half as long. I did not much like what I saw of the movie, but I've heard it kind of goes against the book in a few ways, so it gets points for that.

i actually thought the books were pretty good, but the movie wasnt all that great i find a lot of the discussions about twilight funny because there'd be one website where people think the books and movie are absolute crap but then there's another one where everyone's completely obsessed with this whole thing

I thought both the book and movie were horrible. I tried reading the first book and my younger sisters love the books and the movie, but I just couldn't get into it at all even though I am a girl. They're very overhyped and overrated in my opinion.

It's poorly written and extremely generic, but hey, at least it tried to rip off ideas from some of the best right?

The book is a poorly-written piece of crap full of sexist undertones and an absolutely horrible storyline.

The movie is faithful to the book.

I watch the movie after someone uploaded it to youtube and it was beyond bad. What was up with the special effects?

The book was alright, but it was nothing special. It's just one of those "damsel in distress" situations which get boring after awhile.

The very fact that such a book could ever be brought into existence makes me want to punch a baby.

Overall the whole Twilight series is really stupid. I've read all the books and I've seen the movie, and the whole story is just lame. I don't understand why so many girls are in love with that lameass Edward Cullen.
