Since we're on this thread's page number, has anyone caught this flick lately or read the book?

I have not seen the film nor read the book. However i am convinced that it will hold the answers to my life as the number 1138 stalks me practically everywhere...

Kinda like 23 only not as universal, 23 seems to be meshed into the fabric of the universe. 1138 seems like my own personal calling...

Now i'm sure you like everyone else will just say coincidence but really for coincidence there has to be a limit....

Lost numbers are also meshed in with the universe...

It's suspenseful, but has a happy ending, unlike many sci-fi flicks. I haven't seen it anywhere on TV for years. I might just buy the paperback.

It's pretty old. mebbe DuVall? It's a flick that's good in spite of it being dated, like "Logan's Run".

No you're likely thinking that new horror flick "1408" This is a 60s movie about an oppressive underground society after a nuclear holocaust.

Sorry for reviving the thread, but I just saw the movie. It was crappy image quality. The movie, overall was okay. It had the atmosphere, but I felt most of the diologue sucked. I loved the cops' cheesy voices and the radios and stuff. It sounded cool :P

Good movie, but I think the book has been out of print for like 30 years.
