WHY didnt they use the original's ending? WHY IN GOD'S NAME? The movie was pretty damn good up untill the last 20 last minutes.

Does anyone agree with me?

I thought they did use the original ending - main character discovers that he's in the future, rather than on another planet.

I didnt have any problems with that movie or its ending. Thought it was a pretty good sci-fi flick, and estalle warren, rrr ;)

Nice movie the first 2 thirds (Tade is an awesome bad-azs character). Extremely crappy movie the last 1/3 third. Bad overall :(

From what I understand, the ending in Burton's version was much closer to that of the book.
