Tim Burton's Superman Lives: Nic Cage Costume Test

I came across this today on Chud.com; the video originated from a Japanese Burton fansite.

Back in the late '90s, when Tim Burton's name was attached to direct the latest Superman film (along with a list of countless other directors) apparently there was a costume test featuring Nicholas Cage as the Man of Steel. There's a lot of debate of weither or not this is even real. I'd figure I'd let you guys decide for yourselves. Words fail to describe what it looks like. It's at the tail end of the video, about 50 seconds in.

lol, was actually pretty funny, with all the cool concept art leading up to that ridiculous costume at the end.

If that is real (which it most likely isn't), I'm at a loss of words in my description of how pathetic that was.
