What a shame. And I would have wanted it all for a chocolate chip donut or chicken ranch snack wrappers. :( Story

Tim Hortons exists outside Canada? Americans would rather drink their fruity starbucks drinks than real coffee obviously.Ace6301
Tim Horton's coffee is one step above garbage juice
They're closing because people only buy the food and that's not often
Dunkin' Donuts has the coffee
I wouldn't call Tim Hortons so much a fast food place. From what I've had there (and the ads we get on Canadian television!) it has a very homespun feel to it. When I think of Tims, it's getting up at 6 in the morning for hockey practice in the dead of winter. I wouldn't call it the coffee joint Starbucks is, for all the young, hip folk who drink their herbal teas and sit in to write a novel.
Tim Hortons is definitely the best fast-food chain ever. at least for me.funsohngAs a fellow Canadian, I agree. Which is why I am glad there are numerous Tim Horton's around here :P

Which is why I am glad there are numerous Tim Horton's around here :P everyone says they have bad coffee, crap food, but seriously if you just one nice hearty breakfast with a hot coffee, Timmie is the best place to be for me, it's cheap as hell and it's edible (and tastes nice, IMO)
I don't drink coffee, but Dunkin Donut's donuts are really good, except you have to eat them right away because they go stale really fast. Not surprising, NE is the heart of Dunkin Donuts (who by some unholy power manage to make coffee that actually tastes worse than Tim Horton's) country.

Dunkin Donuts is too popular around here for it to have stayed. Within a 5 minute drive from my house there is literally 8 Dunkin Donuts. There's atleast twice that if not more within a 15 minute drive.GeForce2187Yeah I can believe that. When I went to visit family in Massachusetts, I was dumbfouned by all the Dunkin Donuts. There is like 2-3 on each street.

Tim Hortons? Isn't he the guy who makes overly gothic movies, like Alice in Wonderland?JIT93
He was a hockey player
Good, Tim Hortons belongs in Canada! Just kidding, that sucks. I'd be upset if I couldn't get a French Vanilla cap every once in a while. Or a nice chocolate chip muffin :)
I used to like their sandwiches, but they just started using some new large dry bun that's just awful, and not cheap at all. They even cheap out on the large sandwiches, putting e.g. 3 scoops of chicken salad on a large instead of 4 (half sandwich gets 2 scoops). Pretty bs if you ask me. I only go to Timmy's for cheap coffee and a donut nowadays.
