Viacom are greedy people. At least I don't have to worry because I have Comcast.R0cky_Racc00nComcast is the worst cable company on the planet. They are highly good at screwing people and overcharging.
Dosen't concern me! It only concerns people with time warner cable.SteameffektYeah it does, I agree. I saw the bottom line while watching CSI: Las Vegas this morning on Spike TV.
i heard of this
id be very happy to see those MTV pieces of **** go
but i love me some comedy central, and vh1 at times
Oh wow.Instead, Viacom appealed directly to Time Warner Cable's customers, with TV ads in major markets. In Wednesday's New York Times, the company ran a full-page, color advertisement with Nickelodeon's animated bilingual heroine "Dora the Explorer" crying and clinging to her monkey pal, Boots. "Why is Dora crying?" the ad asks. "Time Warner Cable is taking Dora off the air tonight!" The ad urges viewers to call Time Warner Cable and demand that their favorite shows remain on the air.
Good riddance to bad blood. MTV is crap, VH1 is crap, Nickelodeon is crap except for Nick at Nite, Spike is crap, and Comedy Central is crap. The beauty of it is that the idiots who live around where I do won't do a damn thing about it because they'd prefer to have substandard service if it means having cable. Indeed, the cable workers went on strike a few years ago and, although there was a lot of popular support for the strike, no one was willing to take it to the next level and organise a mass boycott of the local TWC affiliate, thus the strikers lost out. Maybe now we can get our damn rates down a bit with a little bit of mass boycott.
Or we'll all end up getting sattelite dishes.
And thank God for Discovery Channel!
that was easily the most pathetic attempt to get sympathy from people I have ever seen. And right now, I'm OK with Nick going under, now if only Cartoon Network could join Nick...Oh wow.Instead, Viacom appealed directly to Time Warner Cable's customers, with TV ads in major markets.
