Tips on getting girls?

I know it's lame but, every time I see a girl that attracts me, I have no clue what to do. Like how to start a conversation and stuff. Oh good gamespot, help me!

Just be yourself, not much more to say than that.

Touch her sho... no... must resist. Anyway, approach every girl differently (try to use humour though, and compliment her, always). Don't approach her if she doesn't seem interested in you though (you can try, but don't be surprised if you get rejected), unless you've got game, which assuming by this thread you probably don't. :P

Don't post here for advice on this sort of thing, it really won't help you.

Confidence and humor, and sometimes acting like a jerk will attract them.

Find a hobby you enjoy doing and use that to help meet girls. For instance, I cook and so a friend of mine had a dinner party last night for 8 very pretty girls and I offered to be the chef for it since the hostess couldn't cook at all. I made an amazing three course meal for them, and get all their numbers for future cooking things for them, and the hostess hooked me up with her best friend who I'm actually going out with today.

Just find something that will interest girls and you enjoy doing. Things will go naturally from there.

In short, be somewhere in between...dont lie or make up stuff, but feel free to omit or refrain from saying things that are abnormal.

If you like a girl, and she doesnt know her, dont tell her that you enjoy cartoon porn. Hopefully it wont come up, and you can establish a relationship with her and if she does find out it will be after many months of knowing her and she can overlook it.

THats just an example.

Also, if its a girl youre around constantly dont ask her out right away. Get to know her and listen to stuff she comments on. You might find that her personality matches yours and thus you know what to talk about, or that it does not and you shouldnt bother.

Look like you have money, go next to one in the supermarket and read The Economist in front of them. In all, pretend to be or be rich.

Ask lots of questions. The more she gets to talk about her self, with you listening attentively, the better. I mean, don't ask if she has daddy issues or a drug addiction, just ask her light personal questions. And don't stare at her chest. Or your feet. Look her in the eyes when you talk to her, and remember to blink. And don't listen to these guys that say you should be a jerk/tough guy. The only time this works is when they already know you, or you are involved already in a game of cat and mouse. Show that your sensitive BUT not desperate. Confidence shines best when you ask questions and don't talk about yourself needlessly; only talk about yourself when she asks.

This whole thing about being yourself or not, it's simple. Be yourself, but only reveal your best qualities first. Theres no harm in her thinking your cooler than you are; she may be disappointed later when she gets to know you, but by that time hopefully she'll have seen enough of your qualities to overlook your shortcomings. Make her laugh, it's key. Call her a beetch, we llike that too for some reason, but only if you're not serious about it. Being yourself only works for some guys. If you're looking for something serious, be yourself, but if you're just wanting to get laid...don't be. Just act cocky all the time. Girls say they don't like it but trust me, we do.
