tips on growing a moustache

i'm an 18 year old white male, if that will influence your advice giving. i can get a little bit on the outsides of my upper lip but it's hardly anything and it really only looks like dirt if i don't shave it off, which i always do.

is there anything i can do to make the hair grow in the middle and to make it grow thick?

btw my dad can grow a good beard and 'stache so i don't think i'm missing genetics.

Have you considered a fake mustache?

Uh don't shave? Try rogaine? Either you have it or you don't. I can grow a full beard but my mustache is less than perfect.

Moustaches vary from guy to guy. I personally have the split in the middle, and could easily grow out the ends and do the handlebar. You don't need to have the full stache across the lip, you just need a thick stache to prevent it from looking really dirty. I personally prefer the full beard look, and can hardly stand lone staches, but whatever floats your boat.

Hell yeah, I have a bunch of attack bears that I shave regularly. Sadly, only more bears rise from the ashes...err, I mean fur.

Yeh I'm 21 and I grow a beard in about a week. These two male twins I know, they're a year older, and they don't have facial hair. They just flat-out do not.

I reckon it just takes time, how much time depends on the individual. There is a rumour that shaving makes it grow back faster, but I'm pretty sure that's a lie. I'm sure there's some form of hair regrowth stuff you can put to use.

My friend can grow a beard pretty fast, I wish I was like himsmokingsbad

HOLY CRAP!!! This thread is funny, not to you TC, my advice to you is what everyone else says, it's differnt my best friend grew a beard his freshman year of H/S and his dad doesn't have any facial hair so it depends i guess.

But back to the funny you guys are epic! One guy says i can grow a bear and 5 people make jokes off of it, classic. God i love this place.
