as an inspiring game programmer thats taking programmin I in school what are some programs you would recommend that i learn before college

What do you mean by what programs we could recommend that you learn? Also, it's aspiring, not inspiring.

I'm not a programmer, but I would assume C++ and Java are good fundamentals. Maybe Visual Basic. Let me say, programming has to be one of the most tedious and frustrating jobs ever. Don't say, "Oh cool, I get to make games!". If I had to code for a living, 8 hours a day, I'd probably kill myself. I don't know how anyone can stand it. I guess you have to have a knack for it.

Tell me about it..Debugging problems makes it worse -_-. The codes tend to blend into one whole big mess after a while>_>
