Today, history is being delivered

Today, the 8th of January 2011, the crown princess of Denmark has been rushed to the national hospital in Copenhagen, to deliver her twins.

This is the first twin birth in the 350 year long Danish royal, that will go directly into the right for the throne.

According to Danish news media, the princess has been put into labor last night.

The kids won't be first in line to the throne, after their father, the crown prince of Denmark, but rather fourth and fifth after their older brother Christian (the second in line to the throne, after his father) and their older sister Isabella (third).

What do you think the 'result' is?

I think it'll be twin boys.

EDIT: The twins have been delivered, a boy and a girl separated by 30 minutes.

Out of interest, If they were inseparable Siamese twins, how would it work. Surely the other would have to go everywhere with its sibling, would they possibly both be crowned king/queen when the time comes. Or would they just decide on one, and the other just have to go everywhere with them.

I can see it now! It will be one of each.

The throne in any one of my 5 bathrooms in my house is more important than the Danish throne.

Having said that, the little I have seen of this couple seems to indicate they are nice down to earth folks so here is hoping they have a couple of healthy babies...one of each would be just fine.
