Today I saw something odd at mcdonalds...can anyone explain?

Well I was at mcdonalds, waiting to make my order, when some americans put in line behind me, then one of them said "wow" really loud, so I turned to see what was going on (discretly ofc) they were looking at the delivery bag (the one the delivery driver uses to store the food before he goes to deliver it) and one of the americans said "I cant believe it..." the other one said "you owe me" (pointing his finger at the bag constantly) "then the guy payed him (didnt see how much) and he said "people here are crazy haha"

so maybe I missed something...but why was that guy about to lose his jaw because he saw a mcdonalds delivery bag?

Only a select few. Most of fast food restuarants don't deliver.

Remember, US is a big place, and most people buy McDonalds, on the go via Drive thru.

they look similar here, only that they dont ride scooters, and the bag is made of leather...is not some box to carry a nuke like the one this guy has...

No burger king doesnt deliver either. The places that deliver here (America) are; Pizzahut, Dominodes (spelled that wrong, lol), PapPap Johns (so far all I have named are pizza places), and alot of Chinese Places.

well, yeah, the pic was just to give you guys an idea, and to let you know I waesnt lying.

oh and they dont carry big mcdonalds helmets or a yellow and red uniform.

they are pretty much regular guys on bike with regular bike attire with the mcdonalds bag.

to the tc i shall say this, ill speak on behalf of the majority of north america, there are exceptions of course, but fast food places minus pizza places (and kfc here, not sure about everywhere else? :S) dont deliver, they just have the eat in, take out, drive thru options and that is it, unless the manager is delivering it himself for a friend or something like that then fast food places wont deliver regularly here, im assuming thats the explenation you were looking for :P
