It's your party, you can cry if you want to.wallymartin*tempted to sing rest of lyrics, but will appear weird*
Look at it this way. Each birthday that goes by should make you reflect on your life. It should make yo consider all the less fortunate people who did not make it through the year, and ask yourself if you're happy/content with the way things are going. And most importantly, a birthday is a celebration of life, and how good it is to be alive. You don't need a cake. You don't need presents or money. Just invite some friends and family over, and enjoy it. It won't last forever.eo12601yeah your right i shouldnt be so negative
[QUOTE="linkin_guy109"]just have some self confidence man, itll help a lot, some random girl was giving me looks today while i was at work :shock:Xeros606

Happy Birthday, and congrats on not bieng a spoiled brat that asks for everything under the sun, I hardly ever ask for stuff on my birthday too, one time I didn't ask for anything and just hung out with friends.
Call some people and just, have a party like the one in CommanderShiro's sig. Costumes optional.
You're young man, you'll find someone. I remember feeling like like a year ago, but my girl found me (lawl) but i might be on the verge of having girl problems...
i think a good friend who makes you a cake is thinking, "the closest way to a mans heart is through his stomach" =)
yeah it was pretty sweet of her to take actually take the time to bake me a cakeYou're young man, you'll find someone. I remember feeling like like a year ago, but my girl found me (lawl) but i might be on the verge of having girl problems...

Maybe you shouldnt have been as modest when you asked what you wanted? I dont know what to say, every birthday should be happy, and even though I'm growing old as well I can still find mounds of juicy joy in each birthday while everyone else keeps prattling on about how 'life is short' and, 'birthdays are depressing, I'm getting old' instead of enjoying the day, knowing your moving on in life, instead of looking at the fact that one day your going to be old and grey.
If your life is good, then you should be happy. But, if you have something you cant control, like depression, maybe get a therapist or visit a doctor. My opinion about your situation right now, is that you should just cheer up and be happy you have friends, and family (I'd assume) and if its a girlfriend thats missing, then try to talk to that girl and see if she likes you.
Happy Birthday.
I treated the day like it was any other day other than getting a big hug from a good friend(she made me cake) and 17 punches from the guys. I didnt ask for much this year other than a box to skate on and some shoes and maybe some money, but it feels like im missing something. That feeling when something is missing but you dont know what it is. Its probably because i dont have a girlfriend to make me happy or someone to hang out with or that hearing "happy birthday" doesnt sound that special anymore. I know its not good to be sad about it since its my birthday and all buy i cant help it. monkey2go
