Where did you hear that? The official injury report is not due out until Wednesday according to the Patriots website.
I guess it is true.

Exactly I hate how some people are suprised that people don't like him. His team has cheated for the last 5 years, his attidude is a joke and he got a model knocked up and left her....... Some guy :roll:As awful as it sounds I am happy he is injured. His insanely smug attitude, and the alltohether unnecesary shots he takes at other teams is wholly unappreciated.

this definitely makes their week 2 matchup against my favorite team the Jets more interesting
without Brady I think the AFC East will be a 3 way race between the Bills, Jets, and Patriots

as a Jets fan it would of been better if he was there and we win.
Well everyone really does believe everything they read on the interwebz.
It's not official yet. He limped off the field today in the first quarter and is getting an MRI. The official report will be released sometime early this week.
Don't celebrate yet, Brady haters.

NFL is reporting it along with FoxSports and NBC.
This should be quite the morale booster for every other damn team in the league.omfg_its_dally

The worst I've read from all the articles out there is that "his return is questionable."
I'm not saying he's okay, I'm just saying that people shouldn't jump the gun until a doctor says something.

[QUOTE="RyuHayabusaX"]It's a very serious injury, but everyone is just jumping to all these conclusions. It could be a really bad sprained injury, or a torn ACL. Either way it gives Brett Favre a chance to get to the Super Bowl!neogeo419Nooooooo, don't bring Favre into this.I think the Jets might actually be considering saying goodbye to their 1st round pick to the Packers :D
I personally don't want Brady getting injured like this but it's good for the league in the end. I wonder what the guy who caused the injury must be feeling like. Not many people know his name but I'm sure every player in the NFL will now that their dreams of a Super Bowl are even better.
Eagles super bowl champs
I wish so bad. That super bowl a few years ago had the worst calls ever. The Eagles were robbed.

Hellz YES!!!
Jets are going all the way now :D
As a jilted Eagles fan still thinking the Pats might have cheated us, Car., and StL. Anything bad for the biggest disgraces in football is ok with me. The Giants are my hated enemy, but I was glad to see them make NE the biggest chokers in sports history.neogeo419
I feel the same way about the Pats. My Rams have been in a slow downward spiral since that game. BTW I hate the Eagle after today even though they are my superbowl pick. They could have at least made it at least a 20 point victory not a 35pt.

Also isn't it just rumor at this point, link to confirmation?

We must be talking about a different player...smug attitude and shots at other teams, from Brady? Yeah okay buddy, as a huge fan of the Pats, who has probably seen much more interviews with him, he isnt to smug nor does he attack other teams, and any attack he would have would be those seen by any other player...
This is bad news, I dont see them making the playoffs unless Matt Cas. pulls a Brady and is golden this season.
I'm just glad that the athletes of this wonderful game don't have the hate and utter contempt like certain fans, for when they see a succesful athelete.
"Brett Favre, whose debut with the New York Jets ended in a 20-14 win at the Miami Dolphins, said after hearing of Brady's injury, "That's terrible. I guess it's an ACL or something. … (The Patriots) always overcome injuries, but that's pretty difficult, Tom Brady."
"Pollard said, "As soon as I heard him scream, I started saying, 'I'm sorry, I'm sorry.' I'm not a dirty player. … My prayers go out to him. I hope he has a speedy recovery."
No offence but some of you guys are pretty hateful.
