Well it's been a while since we've heard about Anon vs Scientology. Well tomorrow is the start of the protests around the world and who knows who'll win..anonymous or Scientology? Who do think will win?
What can they really do? Hack the Scientology site again? I must admit that they are in a position to do more...but nothing that will grab the common people's attention.

Anon is a group of hackers bent on destroying Scientology...legal or not...doesn't matter.
Of course...because it's Anonymous, there could be a few different groups...different people...doing different things. You never know.

This may sound really negative but taking on a multi-billion dollar instituition with hundreds of thousands of supporters( if not more) is just going to end in failure, the only thing anon is going to do is draw more attention to scientology and like the old saying goes, any press is good press.

It's just a saying...the media can ruin anyone, use anyone, and help anyone.
The fact that every other religion out there dislikes Scientology a lot more than they do each-other means that it isn't going far.

Anons original objective was to bring down Scientology, and it seems like it still is. But the Wise Beard Man has cleared things up with some Anons members telling them that no matter what they do, they will not bring down Scientology. The reason, there will always be followers of Scientology. No matter what you say or do, will make them change their mind.
The current objective for most Anons is just to get our message out to the public. The message being, examples of what Scientology has done and which they pretend never happened (Lisa McPherson, Operation Snow White...just to mention a few).

Umm, it's a not a brawl it's a protest lol. There's not going to be any winners. In any case I'm guessing that there will be very few protester, could be wrong though.

You will actually be very wrong. For the past several days I've been on one of the Anon websites discussing the protests, and each protest has a list of confirmed protesters. Currently Montreal, QC or ATL, GA has the most protesters, but Montreal certainly has the most online activity.

If they pull this off right theyll get the negative out but I can see major news corporations reporting on the protests but leaving the stories of lisa and snow white out, which will only expose scientology to a wider audience without attaching any negative conantations to it.

PS: lemondemon do you know if theres any protests for Toronto or even barrie? Yes. There are 2 happening in Toronto, 1 in Richmond Hill. Those are the only ones labled on the CoSplay site.

Well thats another thing we hope to overcome with this protest. After this protest, everyone is encourage to upload their pics and videos they got at the protests and spread them all over the interwebz. Doing this will hopefully get people interested in the cause, and hopefully more people will show up aswell as media to the next protests which are expected to be within the next 4 weeks.

I alreayd explained in another post that major news corporations are unlikely to report on things like that, if they report on the protests at all theyll be in the same tone as hardcore christians picketing funerals.
