Tomorow is National Go Skateboarding Day. Who all here will be participating in this awesome event. Here in Denver, CO there will be a skateboarding contest and plenty of prizes to be won.

Yeah, even if you aren't a great skater, it's still a fun day to go outside an mess around.

Awesome. I did not know there was such a day. I took my skateboard out for a ride for the first time in about a year yesterday. I might have to do the same tomorrow. -Sluggo-

Yeah, it's a national event. Where I live, skaters gather at the state capital then skate through the mall.

Haha, That would be pretty sweet. I don't think nothing that big goes on where I live but I'm sure a bunch of kids will go out skating.

Lol I'm terrible still after 7 years :| After about a year of trying I landed a kickflip the other day...and haven't landed one since :( Ah well

I'm super pumped because there is a competition tomorrow and I plan on competing (in the advanced/sponsered division, of course 8))

yeah ill go out and skate tomorrow, although there arent any events that i know of

They are a hard trick to learn. It took me much longer to learn kickflips than most other tricks. I was doing varial kickflips, heelflips, and even tre flips before I learned a straight kickflip.

Thanks, I'm excited. I'm literally counting down the minutes until I get off work (56 minutes away) so I can get train for tomorrow.

I've just watched it and that cop was a right ****er! Nice to see that a girl was skating though :) I've not met a girl skater yet.
