Too Many Boy Topics

I'm sick of all the 'guy-only' topics. They're getting annoying. What if a girl said this? Would you got out with a girl like this? Do you have a girlfriend? What kind of girls do you like? Well hello. We do exist. Start making non-biased topics or at the least cut down on the amount.

Edited: The bolded/italicized words are what I'm going to exemplify. Do you people know what non-biased means? It means unfavoring towards a certain situation. Non-biased would mean random topics that are gender friendly that invite the ability for either gender to comfortably comment on. Please... please... please... try and explain to me how I (quote)want feminine topics(unquote). Please. Good luck. It's like a scavenger hunt with no clues, no items and no prize. :|

The majority of posters are male, so it's to be expected. I just put up with it. :P

It's not so much wanting more girl topics or female-sided discussions... It's just rather getting to the point of cliche and utter boredom seeing these threads. Example: "Would you date a girl taller than you?" Why not "Would you date a guy/girl shorter/taller than you?" That way no one is discluded and everyone can comment. Oh my god. I really don't agree at all. I think that the internet is basically a place that attracts males far, far more than it ever could (or should) females. Males can deal with being isolated this way and with constantly dealing with abstract concepts represented by drab designs; they love it in a way that is patently male.quiglythegreat

If you bothered to click the topic and read the first post you'd see that the topic goes on to say exactly that.

Anyway, if you want girl-centered topics then make them. Since GS is probably 95-98% male those topics aren't going to make themselves.

Because those constitute so much of the internet? Those forums are catering to females. But take something like this board here. Overwhelming majority is males, and no one's trying to do that. Hell, Gamespot likely wants a larger demographic for better ads, but they can't figure out how to attract more girls. Part of that problem is that video games in general turn off girls. Unless it's some game that's truly brilliant and totally universal, guys will always have a tendency to gravitate to video games much more, and for much the same reasons they gravitate towards different parts of the internet more; it's abstract and doesn't really pertain to their own lives, isolating them, and attracting them to the medium. Girls more often tend to be turned off by these qualities of something as cold as the internet.

The videogame industry is a MALE dominated industry so a videogame forum caters to males. If Gamespot wanted to cater to girls, then I suggest they remove those stupid College Humor ads about hot gamer girls or whatever.
