Ok! i've been listening to all of my Rock songs all day now.. and I've come up with another top 10!

I wanna see what you guys think.

10 - Steven Tyler

st

Steve is great, although im not a huge fan of Aerosmith I do like most of their big hits like Walk this Way, Dream on and Living on the Edge.

He can sing great, one of America's best rock groups and kind of their saving grace when it comes to 70s American Hard Rock.. I think Aerosmith were the only American group that could actually Rival British groups like Led Zep, Deep Purple and the Australian group AC/DC.

9 - Stevie Nicks

sn

Stevie, imo, is the greatest female singer of all time, all of her song's she did with Fleetwood Mac were brilliant, imo she "was" Fleetwood Mac, and her solo career is amazing, her newest album is one of 2011's best releases ever.

8 - Robert Plant

rp

I'll admit, Im not a huge Zep fan, I like the Mothership album and thats it, but Robert Plant is a great front man, Stairway to Heaven will always be one of the best rock songs of all time.

7 - Ian Gillan

ig

I Love Deep Purple, as a group they are fantastic, but Ian's vocal ability Live and in the Studio is one of the best ever, any rock fan who dosn't like at least one of Deep Purple's songs is not a true rock fan.

6 - Dave Grohl

dg

The voice of Foo Fighters, quite possibly the best Modenr Rock group of all time, Dave has the personality and the genius of a great front man. (Maybe im biased cos all of us Kiwi's love the Foo Fighters :P )

5 - Jimmy Barnes

jb

Cold Chisel, imo, is the best Rock group to come out of Australia, I know Jimmy has had his share of Alcohol problems but the guy has beaten it all and is touring still, a true inspiration.

4 - Chad Kroegar

ck

Nickelback, along with Foo Fighers, are strong contenders for the best Modern Rock Group ever, Chad's strong voice and his lyrics are amazing.

3 - Mick Jagger

mj

Do I need to explain his presense?

2 - Janis Joplin

jj

Again, another obvious inclusion, Janis Joplin was so awesome, she sang Blues/Rock better than any other artist during her time.

1 - Freddy Mercury

fm

Freddy, RIP, my HERO

Queen is the best, Freddy is the best!

You might want to ask everybody else to name their Top 10 or this topic will be closed.

Just a heads up.

My list (not in order):

1. Steven Tyler (Not a big fan of Aerosmith, but there's no denying his stage presence)

2. Morrisey (Too bad his solo music is really not that great)

3. Anthony Kiedis (Not the greatest singer, but he has unique energy)

4. Robert Plant

5. Mick Jagger

6. Axel Rose

7. Jim Morrison

9. Freddie Mercury

10. Stevie Nicks (this is my token female choice  Her voice is both pretty and powerful tho.)

I'm not one to attack other people's lists, but I think your list would be better if you replaced Chad Kroeger with Eddie Vedder since that's who Chad Kroeger tries to sound like, only he's not as good.

Sure why not, why is David Bowie you favourite?

Because he has such and awesome voice, puts on awesome outfits, and has an awesome variety of music styles.

I thnk of him as more of a solo artist than a frontman.

Alright, I'll be the one to point out the white elephant in the room: Chad Kroeger belongs so far away from that list, it isn't funny.
