Tortoises don't just scare cats, they scare dogs as well.

If anyone is familiar with the well documented phenomenon in which cats for some reason are utterly terrified by tortoises and turtles, which leads one to wondering what is the secret?

What are we not seeing in the animal kingdom that dogs and cats see when it comes to their fear of these majestic creatures?

lol, I don't know my dog is also very scared of them. But she would flip them on thier back. I think it's the hissing noise they make when they're scared * at least one reason.
