I just saw the movie Transformers, and it was AWESOME!!! I was thinking about a sequel and what it might be like, and i wanted to know what you guys thought. I think a sequal would be cool, but i cant think of a plot for it. What do you think?

My friend linked me a couple of days ago. I'm not that knowledgable about the enemies in Transformers but the decipticons were first followed by some other enemies coming in the new movies.
Yeah, its everything you want in a mindless summer action movie, its entertaining and a great time at the movies, and all that can come from a sequel is more action, more entertainment,more fun.
Im pretty sure any sequel being made would definetly focus on the transformers more. Everything already been introduced, if more Decepticons showed up the humans already know what their going to do, no build up needed.
I've also heard from sources that Starscream is supposed to come back with a whole new squadron, all jets like him, that is supposedly nuetral to both Autobot and Decipticon. Its also supposed to be confirmed that Shockwave and Soundwave are going to show up as well. Thats only what people have told me though.
well judging by the box office numbers, there no reason not to make a sequel. it doesnt even have to be half as good as the first one cause ppl are still going to go see it cause they wanna know what happens next.
Well the main three characters have signed on for 2 more sequels, one of which has a script underway (apparently Dinobots are in it (whoever they are)) However it is not known is Bay will be returning.

I need to see the first one first to decide if I want a sequel or not. However it wouldn't matter if they make a sequel and I dont want it because it's not like we're forced to watch movies :|
I think this was the best way you could have done a live action Transformers movie...it's on the level of the origional Ninja Turtles movie....purists will always find details to nitpick over (the 1st turtles movie was NOTHING like the comic.) but over all both are amzaing movies..Two concepts that for the most part only worked in cartoon form (especially transformers)...Seriously when I saw them transform on screen for the 1st time I felt the same way I did when I saw the Bracheasaurus in the 1st Jurassic Park...pure movie magic. As long as it doesnt fall into the downward spiral that sequals/trilogies tend to fall into. And as long as they dont make Unicron a giant cloud (you hear that marvel you ****heads!) i will be happy
Well I really enjoyed this first one so yeh I guess i could go for some more Big ass robots destroying things and causing mayhem, although next time lets at least see some people die in the whole film not a single person dies at all with all of that mayhem going on someone would die shorely.
This is a tricky one. The first movie was good but how would they go about making a sequel? It would be lame to include the same people from the first movie and I don't know how they could make a realistic plot without it ripping off the first movie. Although I hope they make a sequel and I'd see it in theaters, it also wouldn't bother me if they never made another movie again.

What about all the people in cars who get crushed and the people in the jets that get destroyed? None of the main charachters died though, if thats what you mean.
Ya, I want a sequel. I don't care how bad it might be. I'm a huge fan of Transformers. I just hope they bring back Soundwave (original voice) and bring back Starscream's original voice.
I don't think it'll be a big surprise if they made a few more, but they won't be that great. This one was just ok in my opinion. Starscream and majority of autobots were the only ones left, so it's him verses them? Sounds like a two hour movie to me....
