Exhibit A: A craptacular rap song that sounds absolutely terrible.
Exhibit B: Travis Barker's amazing remix that makes it the best song ever.

Dude, it was terrible to begin with and even worse to end. No, that wasn't amazing, and not even close to listenable. I know you are exaggerating on the "best song ever", but it is not even close to good. It was terrible.
Travis Barker is a good drummer, but NOT a god.
[QUOTE="Sandro909"][QUOTE="SSCyborg"]I liked what he did with Crank That more
Made it somewhat enjoyable

Yeah I was surprised by that too. He has the ability to make anything awesome. o.O
You hear his Umbrella remix?
I just listened to it... man he's good...

Travis Barker is a good drummer, but NOT a god. Yeah, what did he have, 2-3 sticks in one hand and beat at the drum quickly in that song? Cool, I can do that too.

It's all a matter of opinion. Of course it isn't the best song ever; I was using the expression, fool.
Thank you Travis Baker because now I can listen to "Crank Dat" without wanting to kill myself.LAZZORI still can't listen to it, the lyrics weren't removed.
He's good, but not godly.

Yeah I agree. Listen to most of the blink 182 songs, he basically played different variations of the same beat. That does'nt make him a god. Listen to Lars Ulrich (not from St. Anger), or Chad Smith, Cliff Martinez, Jackie Irons. Those are drum gods.
Does he know the Drum Solo of Life, like Neil Peart, though? :o :Pzakkro
Neil Peart and mike portnoy FTW
P.S. this guys still badass at drums.
Wow, after watching those videos my respect for him went WAY up. Man he really knows how to improve songs!!!
Still, calling him a drum God is a little much. Stuff like this is Godly.
my personal favorite drummer is mario duplantier from gojira. he beats those drums like they stole something from him. LoG-Sacrament
And Philthy Phil from Motorhead. He had a 360 degree drum dome in which he was incased inside while he was playing. Does it really get anymore badass than that??

I prefer the original. It didn't need changing to be honest, and he didn't seem to add much.eh, kinda lame.
In my opinion, this is good Druming:

Not the most technical drumming out there, but it's very emotional and beautiful.

Sooo....
You think the videos posted were better?
I think a lot of people here let their hatred of Blink 182 cloud their judgement.
I'm not a Blink fan either, but Travis Barker is DAMN good.

I listend to a bit of that City of Caterpillar vid. Pretty sweet stuff.
He's pretty good, but I still don't like him. This is superiorImmortalica
I think they suck but at least I have a reason to actually watch them now when they come here w/ Dimmu/Behemoth.
Personally, Chris Pennie is one of my favorite technical drummers (next to Tomas Haake from Meshuggah)
My personal favorite drummer, ever, is Neil Peart. Because he just is.
(PS Travis Barker isn't very good)

He is amazing, I'd have to put him as my favorite drummer, as well.
ya too bad this is the best redo of a rap song!

I'm not a big fan of Kalessin either, but I thought Vyl is pretty good. The Dillinger Escape Plan is meh. But the Meshuggah one was good. The last one was awesome. And yeah, Travis isn't great, but the vid was decent.barker is the most overrated drummer on the face of the earth. I used to this he was teh uber when I liked blink 182, like 8 years ago.
edit - watched the vid again, umm, wow it was pretty much all 16th notes, he is so great
Its hard to get noticed as a drummer.RenegadePatriot
its easy, just have crappy band members, it'll make you look better
