Trump is hated in Scotland, for his development of a golf course. Forced people to leave their homes.

Trump fails to create promised jobs and investment in Scotland, locals say

Donald Trump has threatened to pull £700 million worth of investment from Scotland if MPs ban him from entering the country but locals say investment and job creation have already failed to live up to promises he made almost a decade ago.

The Republican Presidential candidate’s much-hyped Aberdeenshire golf course has been a loss-maker since it opened in 2012. He has also made similar threats of pulling investment after losing fights against local residents and failing to block plans for a local wind farm.

"Donald Trump has been the worst thing to ever happen to my homeland of North East Scotland, we all hope he and his nasty organization will just go away."

Scotland gives Donald Trump go ahead for 'world's greatest golf course'

Yeah, what is new? He never listens to the people who live on the land he wants to throws his name feces on. A wildlife preserve? Screw it! I'll make myself a (white) golf course!

First off, I wont be voting for trump, Cruz, or Bernie. But it is really starting to piss me off that people, some of who have never even visited the US, think they have any say in our domestic laws, or elections. If the US votes for Trump, tough shit for you. If the US refuses to pass gun regulations, again, **** off if you don't like it. The last thing I even find slightly humorous is some little twit, with an English accent, joking about our domestic issues.

You want to throw jabs over our bullshit international **** ups, that's fine.

@joehult: This seemed rather incoherent and anglophobic.

@joehult: The stability of the colonies' inner workings have a direct impact on the ideological sanity of the entire western world. As you may have noticed, Europe and the colonies influence eachother's political landscape on a daily basis.

I get the feeling it's where his dislike for wind turbines come from because we built one off the coast of one of his investments and made it "ugly."

I'm sorry that one of our people are reeking havoc into other countries; America right now is also having to deal with him and it's getting uglier by the day.

@servomaster: Most of the Scottish residents hated and wanted rid of him long before he stood for elections. He destroyed 4,000 year old land dunes, and tried to bribe, then buly residents when they didn't give in.

SNP are primarily to blame, They'd turn Scotland into the opening of Blade Runner if it meant business.

The sad American mentality that made Trump represent 50% of the people: nationalist ("oh no, I'm just a patriot!"), xenophobic (wants nobody to interfere in his country yet his country claims the world record of foreign military bases), racist (what does their accent has anything to do with this?), and most of all, proud of it all.

You do realize that Trump is the one meddling in Scotland right? With his controversial golf courses there? I doubt people in north-east Scotland give two shits about US politics, save for when the man that constantly fight and threatens them is suddenly going to be a US president.

all that aside, I'm sure the people who work there and the businesses they support as a result will be upset if the course closed.

So nobody should be allowed to comment on something that doesn't directly effect them (which it does effect them since America is constantly invading other countries and has a large influence on the world economy) yet it's perfectly ok for you to comment on views that have absolutely no effect on you?

Why do you care if some person thousands of miles away from you doesn't like the way the piece of dirt that you coincidentally was born on is being handled?

@servomaster: Created very little jobs or income. Rather than prosper Mr Trump has described the residents as a blight on the view, attempting to get an order through to forcefully make them sell - https://youtu.be/ADecI4xw-yg

When Michael Forbes won the spirit of Scotland award he threw a tantrum and banned Scots Whiskey claiming it was fixed and they were jealous of his own brand.

... The one candidate that actually seemed like they had character, Bernie Sanders, now appears to have been defeated.. What we get for our general election is a toupee wearing douche bag on one end.. And a absolute establishment bitch on the other.. Both we have no real clue of what they would enact because they have either been extremely unclear or absolutely wishy washy on numerous issues, not to mention we have seen that both of them treated the people working under them like shit.. How any one on either side think these candidate care about them when they have a history of fucking over people below them is absolutely mind boggling..

What makes this even more infuriating is both candidates have embraced some of the worse trends.. Trump has embraced xenophobia racist bullshit.. And Hillary has embraced the SJW feminist bullshit.. I am at a absolute loss of words to what this has become, I don't think I will be voting at all this upcoming general election.
