Two 13-year old girls hit by car while sunbathing on a road

Story.

I really want to feel sorry for them but I'm trying to figure out if my pity needs to be focused on their injuries or their lack of common sense for sunbathing on a road.

Granted, the road is rural, but that don't mean a thing especially when people speed on roads where they're least likely to run into the cops.

Thoughts?

I hate to say it but... This is what patios and patio furniture was made for.

13 years old isn't a kid, they're almost going into high school. In Junior high people should know not to sleep on the roads, that's the dumnest thing I've ever heard.

If I was 13, I would have the common sense not to lie down on the road. The incident happened because of their stupidity, not age. Stupid people like them deserve to get screwed... to teach them a lesson to switch their f**king brains on!

While that will probably be the derpiest moment in their lives, I can't help but look back on my own horrible decisions at age 13. I hope their parents chew them out properly, but I am not ready to call social Darwinism on them.
