well i got past the tutorial and stopped playing it because it was too boring.

Yeah, I think I played it when I was 13 or 14. I quit after they got rid of the Wilderness.

Yeah I played it for like two years. It used to be really good, and had a special charm to it. The choppy graphics, the MIDI music, fun quests. Also I remember how fun the Wilderness was. I used to spend entire nights with my friend just wandering around there killing people and we would split the loot. Was a lot of fun tricking noobs into coming into there and killing them too. It was great IMO, but now it basically just sucks.

My friend convinced me to play it. I didn't bother doing the tutorial.

and there is more things to do as a member. of course I don't play the game anymore. lack of good updates. and wrong place to talk about runescape btw.

*puts up flame shield* I played, a lot. Clocked over 3000 hours into it and was level 132 (138 being the highest) when I quit. It's always tempting to come back to play, but the game just isn't as fun as it was 5 years ago when it was slightly less popular, and even more so 8+ years ago.Faber_Fighter

Sometimes do during lecture classes.

I got to level 134 but after the recent updates that recently came out, it just didn't really feel like RuneScape. That and the fact that I purchased the Orange Box and the Age of Empires 3 + Expansions killed off any interest I had in Runescape.

It's not like tricking defenseless noobs was the only thing I did, in fact I only did that like four times in total. I gave a few of them their stuff back without them asking too; it's just fun manipulating people like that. More often I got same-level people to trust me only to bring them to wildy and backstab them. Actually some of them were a higher level than me. Come on, you have to admit that it can be great fun.

I prefer to offer to buy a uncommon yet useless item for 10 million or something and have an accomplice/friend sell the item for 5 million. =P

If you saw me in real life though..I'd be the last person you'd think plays Runescape. But I do have a friend who is a competetive body builder who plays World of Warcraft, and that is in a much different level than Runescape :lol:

I had no interest in it and of course all the people I hung out with said it sucked. BAD.
