just wondering if there were any MMA fans here. if you are, what do you think about this "legendary card" the UFC has put together for it's 100th anniversary? i think it's great, but i don't see it ending well for Mir. he was dangerously close to being TKO'd last time he fought Brock and the ref definitely helped him.
Brock vs. Mir. All I have to say is AWESOME! My money is on Brock though, the fact that he put up such a good fight against a veteran mma'er like Frank Mir and almost overwhelmed him with sheer force means that, with some good Muay Thai training, Brock should be able to cream Mir.
It's gonna be awesome, I'm mainly looking forward to Henderson vs Bisping because they've been the most recent coaches for the Ultimate Fighter.

I don't usually watch MMA but I might have to tune into this. The card looks like it won't disappoint.

my only complaint is that they didn't put the GSP Vs. Alves fight as the main event. but i guess it's smarter to put Brock as the main event cause he draws in the big $$$

Brock is significantly larger and most likely will be packing more muscle than mir, he was also an old wrestler so as long as he stays on top and doesn't let Mir get his holds on, Brock should be fine. The main reason why fitch and Paulo aren't the stars is because the Brock-Mir fight is HIGHLY anticipated (duh), ditto for TUF coaches bout, and GSP has been getting a lot of attention as of late, I just hope the Canuck pulls through :P
I hope Mir can pull it off, if he hadn't of caught Lesnar off guard first time, we would've been pulverised even more. I have to say that I think GSP will win his fight against Alves and Bisping isn't my favourite for the night, Henderson is still one of the best imo.

Al-Turk is no pushover. If CC does not win this fight, he is done in the UFC and either will retire or go back to fight in DREAM. He is 100% though this time around. He says he is ready to go and get a shot at the title. I am behind him and hoping he can capture gold this time around.
