I'm pretty sure the blood all over Guida's face and the mat last night is real.... -_-Sajedene
Well WWE has times when there's blood all over the guys face's
Its pretty real, but in all honesty the majority of them do not throw very hard punches.. There would have been a death long ago with those small ass gloves.. sSubZerOoare you serious.....
UFC is not real, but WWE is SO real. ;)Citrus25well technically the WWE is real, however it is scripted.
Real have you seen those guys? They kill each other, there's a reason why New York won't allow it (a reason I don't agree with but still)

Absolutely yes, the majority of the times I have seen if they are on the ground they are flailing their arms like little spazzed out people.. Infact it seems like the majority of stand up fights are just people trying to poke them at a far distance and get back.. Rarely do I ever see any real blocks or head dodges.
Yes, but they've made it more marketable in the past year or two. A while ago they didn't really throw more than two punches in a whole match sometimes, and the whole thing was basically a wrestling match where they tried to snap eachothers legs and arms. Now it basically a boxing match on roids. Not nearly as good as it used to be.

I am just saying what I see in the majority of the matches I have seen.. This maybe different in the so called "big" fights but the vast majority of other ones I beg to differ.. Furthermore my opinion on the league cemented even more when Kimbo Slice was be hyped a ton even after the pathetic fights he won in.. And people were calling it amazing.. Yeah its sure amazing when he beats up a fat slob in less than a round.. I am sorry but the fact that you rarely hear about any deaths in the sport when they are wearing the smallest of gloves shows that they really never punch hard.. Especially half the time when they get in prone position and wail on the other guy.. Yet again I am not suggesting this is the entire, I am sure there are some great ones but the vast majority I have seen has been quite unimpressive.[QUOTE="sSubZerOo"][QUOTE="spliffstar12"] are you serious.....johnny

But I do see your point, UFC is mostly about trying to get the other opponent to tap out...it's not all about punching like in boxing.[QUOTE="sSubZerOo"] Absolutely yes, the majority of the times I have seen if they are on the ground they are flailing their arms like little spazzed out people.. Probably the best fight I seen in a while. how can you guys like this type of stuff. I have nothing against violence (God of War fanboy here) but seeing 2 people baet each other to a pulp isnt exactly my idea of fun :? Next thing you know, we are going to reintroduce professional gun dueling as a sport! :P

There would have been a death long ago with those small ass gloves.. sSubZerOoThey throw extremely hard punches, trust me. A good punch isn't thrown with your arm its thrown using your body to generate force behind it. A lot of punches are also thrown to setup kicks, takedowns, other combinations or a clinch.

Your agrument loses all credability when you mention kimbo. he isnt in the UFC. However Dana is putting him in TUF to prove Kimbo is just a brawler. There are rules against ground and pound. Theres a reason fights end so quickly when an opponent gets to the ground and gets wailed on. Its very, very real. If youve ever fought anybody you would realize that once adrenaline kicks in its hard to control the force in which you hit somone. The gloves have a good amount of paddin on them. They look smaller because the fingers and palm need ot be opened up for grappeling. a boxing glove is blown up to protect the hand. Fdor example, the thumb is in the glove. Have you ever punched someone with your thumb? I dont think so. RESEARCH IS AWESOME!!

They went in there willing, and knowingly, doing a sport they both love. How could I not love that?
