Uh oh that wasnt meant for you!

So I just sent a text to my mum by accident, when in fact it was meant for my friend. D:

It said, 'haha okay didnt really know you were into post hardcore stuff, you book the hotel and consider me there :D Okay cool i can give you the money whenevs now or after its your choice and yerrrhh were going to have an amazing time i know.'

What I was talking about was going to a gig with my friend but seen as me and her are at different uni's with quite some distance between us we were thinking of meeting up in the middle. My mum eventually rang me quite confused, i didn't understand at 1st but then she told me what i sent her i thought it was quite hilarious and i explained to her i was talking about a gig. . :')

So when was the last time you sent a text to the wrong person ?

So my sister was wondering what she should get my girlfriend for christmas. They both like glee so she (my sister) was going to get my GF a glee CD. However my sister didnt know which CD's my GF had.... thats where i come in

I was suppose to find out which ones she had/wanted. I was talking to my girlfriend and asked her which CD i should get my sister for Christmas (smart little lie to find out). My GF told me that she didnt have any glee CD's, but i should get my sister the christmas one.

I text my sister "She said that she doesn't have any of the CD's because she listens to them on youtube, but i should get you the christmas one"

however i didnt send it to my sister, i sent it to my girlfriend. :P

she (girlfriend) was like "Why are you telling your sister what you are going to get her:?"

i was so lucky i typed my text message the way i did :P

I was working overtime one weekend, and our normal schedule is we take a 1/2 hour break paid, and don't take our 2 15 min breaks to make up for it.

Well about 15 min before it was time to leave our team receives an email from our lead that the supervisor for that day (not our normal supervisor) did not approve of this, and we would not be paid for our lunch. I meant to reply to my lead asking if I can take my breaks now (ie leaving) since the supervisor is a dumbass. Instead of "reply" I hit "reply all" which the supervisor was CC'd on.

Ive only messed up once and it wasnt even bad. I always check that I'm texting the person I want, but when you are texting a few people at a time it can get confusing

I was texting my friend and he was messing with me so I sent him "Suck my ****" except I accidently sent it to a girl I was texting who I just met haha.

And I don't text. The closest I've come to "wrong message sent" was when I had a tab on omegle and a skype chat open at the same time, which just ended in my omegle trolling getting posted on the skype chat. It's good to have understanding friends.

People text our work phone all the time, it drives me nuts! I answer saying "Morning/afternoon Doncast..." before I hear "This is an SMS" and slam the phone down :evil:

I text, but not so much so that I've gotten to a point where I accidentally send texts to someone else.

I pretty much ruined my friend's surprise party by accidently sending her a text meant for someone else. I feel like it evens out though, since I was the one who proposed the idea and put it together in the first place :P

Probably the same way I do, I call them.

Got one that wasn't meant for me from an ex-girlfriend, asking if she got with the target recipient when she was drunk. Gave her the benefit of the doubt and to her credit she stopped drinking after that. Maybe it's some kind of techno freudian slip?

I remember one time I let my mom borrow my phone cause her phone was charging.. my friend texted me one of those really gross images you find on the internet. Thankfully she never opened the message :D
