Such respected members like Iran, China, Russia and Saudi Arabia are all for an action that will have the UN take control of the internet, taxing visitors of international websites in order to "build" a worldwide broadband network.

Nothing could go wrong with that, amirite? I mean, they wouldn't actually try and censor anything, would they?

Considering they are asking nations like China, Russia, Iran, Cuba, and Venezuela for advice on how to control the Internet (an impossibility in itself), I'd say this treaty has no real credibility.
