Underrrated songwriters?

These are some songwriters I think should get more attention.

1. Julian Cope

2. Nick Cave- His album Murder Ballads is one of the best written albums I have ever listened to.

3. Steven Wilson

4. Gruff Rhys

5. James Mudriczki

It's technically a band, but Wolff is the singer, writer, composer, arranger, and producer, so yeah... :P

I don't know any of the guys you listed but I'm gonna say John Mayer, Gavin Degraw (one of my favorites), Vanessa Carlton and Van Hunt.
