I recently purchased an HP OfficeJet J3680 in order to satisfy my printing/scanning/copying/faxing needs. Little did I know that I was actually purchasing an increase in blood pressure disguised as office equipment. Within 10 minutes of setup and use, the alert "Scanner Failure" came up on the display. My little black machine could no longer scan, copy, or fax.
That's when I threw the first punch.
It was a quick jab, meant to show the little bugger than I wasn't prepared to deal with something like this. It laughed back at me with a flashing orange exclamation point, claiming it's victory over my tantrum.
At that point, I should have called HP and sought support. However, knowing full well that HP outsources it's support lines to foreign countries in order to save a few pennies, I had nowhere else to turn but the fridge...
One by one, the beers charged down my throat and multiplied my anger. My eyes had become red, my teeth were dripping with venom, and I even tore off my freakin' shirt. I double fist smashed the unsuspecting HP device, followed by two more right hand smashes, and then the swipe off the desk onto the floor where the finishing foot stomp was executed.
Anyone else had a similar experience with HP? How do they stay in business with such horrible products and customer service???
