I recently purchased an HP OfficeJet J3680 in order to satisfy my printing/scanning/copying/faxing needs. Little did I know that I was actually purchasing an increase in blood pressure disguised as office equipment. Within 10 minutes of setup and use, the alert "Scanner Failure" came up on the display. My little black machine could no longer scan, copy, or fax.

That's when I threw the first punch.

It was a quick jab, meant to show the little bugger than I wasn't prepared to deal with something like this. It laughed back at me with a flashing orange exclamation point, claiming it's victory over my tantrum.

At that point, I should have called HP and sought support. However, knowing full well that HP outsources it's support lines to foreign countries in order to save a few pennies, I had nowhere else to turn but the fridge...

One by one, the beers charged down my throat and multiplied my anger. My eyes had become red, my teeth were dripping with venom, and I even tore off my freakin' shirt. I double fist smashed the unsuspecting HP device, followed by two more right hand smashes, and then the swipe off the desk onto the floor where the finishing foot stomp was executed.

Anyone else had a similar experience with HP? How do they stay in business with such horrible products and customer service???

Never really had problems with HP, but I have an HP Photosmart C4180 Printer/Scanner etc that sometimes just doesn't work the way it's supposed to. Sometimes it'll just swallow a whole freakin packet of paper instead of one sheet, other times it won't print, now I don't think it scans...D:

HP printers are garbage, unless you get them on sale. They're insanely expensive to refill so they're pretty much good for a one time use only.

I like my HP computers and printers, and their online customer support was very responsive.

My HP printer is a POS. Whenever you replace the cartridge it starts printing all this bs and when you hit cancel red sirens start going off. The scan button on it doesn't even work. I ****ing hate it

That sounds like a scene from Office Space.
