Universal language, would you want one?

I am not trying to say one language is better then the other so we all should learn it. It doesn't matter if it is English, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, whatever.

But wouldn't it be amazing if some how we were able to pick one language and everyone on earth must learn this language so we could freely communicate.

Would you be open to this?

Trust me, I've found that enforcing rules world wide is much harder than you would think.

It isn't like I said we should only speak one language but make it mandatory to have one universal language. You could speak as many languages is as you wan't.

English IS the international business language. Why do you think the Chinese and Indian governments are so keen on people learning.

I certainly agree that everyone being able to understand everyone else would probably be a good thing. All we need now is to discover the Babel Fish and we'll be good. ;)GabuEx

Same here. Like the Babel Fish (I think that's what it's called) from Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

I agree it should be english unless someone actually discovers the babble fish.
