I remember reading about that guy in the NY times a lil while ago. The stuff that guy went through was very crazy, and very unfortunate. But at least he was lucky enough to survive.

Yes, that is the appropriate way of cheering up a depressed person is to tell them to shut up because somebody has it worse. This didn't really cheer me up at all but i'm not selfish enough to take me own life. So why don't you do the honors and take your dad's gun and shoot me in the head. Thank you.

Absolutely. Try playing with its mini version "home-sockets". Should give you a small taste. But really no, ligthning is not safe. You just dont wana get hit in the head or heart. It passing throught your leg to the ground will burn the leg, but not life threatening.

When I saw this thread title, I instantly thought of the man that was struck by lightning seven times. My Conceptual Physics teacher told us about him. I don't even know how it got there, but we went on Wikipedia and looked up some crap about him. It was good stuff. I should've told OT about this discovery sooner. :(
