I bought a $350 laptop yesterday off some guy on Craigslist, and it's a Toshiba L300... Tho, this L300 is supposedly horrible. When I went to meet with the guy, I tried it out and it seemed pretty good. To be honest, I don't know much about computers, and there was this sticker on the laptop saying "Intel Celeron"... I never knew intel Celeron is lower than Pentium 1, 2, 3, 4. etc. Well in the bottom line, I think the Laptop was ordered from Asia, because on the keyboard, there's little Chinese letters in the bottom right, and top right corners (I thought he may have gotten someone to put them on there, or I thought he might have installed another keyboard). Also while I was charging the laptop today, the charging jack came off... and underneath the converter was a European style plug in (two metal cylinders). So I decided to type up the model number on google, and this is what I got... But whatever, What do you guys think of the specification? My brother knows a lot about computers, and he said it sucks big time... But remember, I only use the computer for school work, and web surfing... I don't play any games. So overall, what do you think of the laptop? And was it worth the price? Thanks guys.
If it's cheap and it does the job fine then that's ok. I'd have a whinge at the store for the support sites being in asian and the keyboard tbh. And I'd ask for a new charger as well.

Actually that is what you would pay for a laptop with those kind of specs; even though they suck for todays standards. But its fine for school work and the Internet. Even though I would never buy from Dell (laptop wise) the price of a laptop with relatively the same specs cost around that.
Er, I think you could have bought a better one at Dell for cheaper, especially if they're having a sale. Not positive. I think you could have got a desktop 2.5 times better than that for about the same price as well :(.
