Afraid of influencing the world in ways you did not intend? :oNo.
EDIT: I said no because I never say good luck and I never plan to.

I answered all the questions just fine etc, but the only thing I regret is not being too much of a charismatic guy... During the time the employer was looking for my name in the resume pile, he was silent and so was I... Wasn't much talking when there wasn't a question being answered... Plus, what makes me feel like I won't get hired is the fact that there was about 73 resume's in the pile for the position I was applying for... So since I wasn't too charismatic, I don't think it will be too memorable for him... But I'm just hoping in his mind, I was being professional for the job position. But we'll see, he said if he's interested in me, he will give me a call next week. Wish me LUCK!!!-_Cloud_-i had an interview like that 2 last week but what sucks for me is that they called back and I wasn't home so my sister answered never told me :( the guy said he filled the spot because he never heard from me

maybe he likes someone that doesnt talk to much?Tjeremiah1988Yeah, hopefully. Before the interview, he got a phone call, and he was laughing and joking around with whoever called him. But later on when the interview started, he went into serious mode. So I guess he likes to chat with customers/close friends, and likes to be professional with employees etc?
Meh, as far as I can see whoever gets employed in places is incredibly random. You can have someone who's really well qualified, yet it goes to the guy who dropped out of high school and can barely string two sentences together, or you can have someone who is very welcoming and charismatic but it goes to the guy who smells of Mountain Dew and cheese. In my experience, it's usually women who get hired. Especially if the person hiring them is a young guy.
Good luck all the same.

I would be so pissed with my sister if she'd done that. I'll tell you this right now, I would hurt her so bad... With words only :P Not with anything physical haha.
The last job I needed someone to rig for me was almost 3 years ago.
After that, I always get the jobs I interview for just being myself.
I always try to sell myself though and say that I'm really good and I really do want this job and will show up for every shift.
An employer's biggest fear is that they'll hire a person and the person won't even show up for the shifts at all because they aren't serious about the job. Then they'll have to go through all that trouble again.
It's better to be too loud than to be too quiet.
Yeah that's true. That's what I was thinking after the interview while driving home, it's like a lottery, I have a 1/73 (+) chance of getting in, unless they're hiring more than 1 employee etc... But still pretty low huh?..Meh, as far as I can see whoever gets employed in places is incredibly random. You speak the truth. I did mention that, I said that I am reliable, and that I would always show up on time for shifts etc. So hope that helps. But then again, I'm sure 80% of the other applicants for the position will probably say that etc...The last job I needed someone to rig for me was almost 3 years ago.

An uncontrollable feeling of wanting something to happen. Luck is the belief that there is some uncontrollable force that changesodds in your favor. And anyways hope is useless too :P

Hoping does not insinuate that there is a mysterious force at work, where that is essentially what luck is.

It's like God. It only matters to those who believe in it, imo.[QUOTE="kemar7856"][QUOTE="-_Cloud_-"]I answered all the questions just fine etc, but the only thing I regret is not being too much of a charismatic guy... Surely 'good luck' serves more as a way to give a person your support... I mean, no one thinks that saying 'good luck' will give you good luck, do they? ... D:No.

I hate job interviews. Most of the time, they'll hire some random person who's less credible instead of hiring you.
Interviews suck. Not because of personal interaction, I can handle the small talk ok. My problem is when they throw out these dumb questions like "Tell me a time when you failed," "Where do you want to be in 50 years," and the ever lovely "Why do you want to work here?." Some day I just want to say something to the extent of "Because you pay the most and seem like a place I would hate less than the others" but you know, I'm a sissy. :(guynamedbillyThe ones similar to "why do you want to work here?" always get me. "Why? Because you're the only place that granted me an interview. That's why!"

"Why? Because you're the only place that granted me an interview. That's why!" Yeah, there was some questions like, "what makes you a good asset to this company". There was also "where will you see yourself 5 years from now". And one I really hate, "what are your wage expectations for this position?" Urgh...
Imo its better to not be charismatic than to try to be charismatic and fail.
The best solution to this is to write follow-up letters. You should do this all the time, but most of the time (especially with me) us quiet folks tend to write extremely well. A great follow up letter describing how much you enjoyed the interview, how you want to work there even more after the interview, will gain you some charisma points.
Dont forget to put some points into stamina and agility though.
sorry....
Yeah, my cousin is hooking me up to work in the Board of Trade in Chicago this summer, so I do not need to interview for it 8) Wow, you guys don't even know how lucky you are...
