They are just reporting the results of a poll. If I linked you to something by Sean Hannity or Bill Kristol, you might have a valid point, but obviously this isn't such an article.

The bottom line is that CNN, CBS, MSNBC, the NY Times, etc. would not report this poll because they don't want to make Obama look bad.

how does this make Obama look bad? Regardless the war is pointless. Of course, asking the troops, the troops that signed up for a reason to fight in a war, would agree on this.

Yeah, let's ignore the fact that blacks normally vote democratic.

Seriously, I never thought I'd see the day that the race card was played against a black candidate.

A lot of white people are voting for Obama because he is black.

And just because race is a very important factor in this election, it doesn't mean that everyone is voting based on race. I for one am not voting fro Obama because he has no experience and has very liberal views. For me it has nothing to do with race, but for many black people, it does.

Yeah, and Jewish people are supporting him because he's Jewish. OH WAIT.

Seriously, get a grip. Just because people don't vote for the candidate you support doesn't mean they're voting purely because of the other candidate's race. Many minority groups will lean one way or the other in politics, the only reason it's being brought up now is because it seems like people WANT to make this election about race.

That's because obama, will cut Military funding which will make things hard for the troop and they know that. Plus they can relate to McCain, him being a veteran and all.

the war is not pointless, osama bin laden made a declaration of independants to destroy america, the jihad is all scattered in iraq, iran, afganistan, etc. osama said if the americans pull the troops out because we underestimate them, he will cause more destruction like he did on: twin towers 1993, twin towers 2001, USS Cole, Pentagon, US ebassy in Tanzinia and Kenya, etc.

I agree, democracy is overrated.

Democracy is great, but it certainly has its flaws, namely uneducated voters.

[QUOTE="bungie93"]The bottom line is that CNN, CBS, MSNBC, the NY Times, etc. would not report this poll because they don't want to make Obama look bad.willtsherman

how does this make Obama look bad? Regardless the war is pointless. Of course, asking the troops, the troops that signed up for a reason to fight in a war, would agree on this.

the war is not pointless, osama bin laden made a declaration of independants to destroy america, the jihad is all scattered in iraq, iran, afganistan, etc. osama said if the americans pull the troops out because we underestimate them, he will cause more destruction like he did on: twin towers 1993, twin towers 2001, USS Cole, Pentagon, US ebassy in Tanzinia and Kenya, etc.

We are fighting a war on terror. Though I do find the Iraq war pointless. And where did Osama say that?

Most people that volunteer to serve in the military have a conservative idealogy, so this isn't a surprise. You could have taken a poll from ANY election and gotten those kind of results for the more conservative candidate.

Well, he is a veteran. There's probably a strong note of empathy in that poll.

bungie93

Which is a group composed of probably at least 80% of voters, and that's likely being very generous to the voters.

And, no offense to the troops, but I have my doubts that they're highly more educated voters than the average Joe.

Uh oh. You linked to Fox News.

Here on GS anything from Fox is obviously a lie

Zentrenius

Yeah, because it's Faux News. Try an unbiased sourse, like MSNBC or The New York Times, you conservative Nazi.

[/sarcasm]

don't call him a nazi, you democratic hippie

[/sarcasm]no, how bout you go back to woodstock with your hippie friends and do nothing, while the working americans and the wealthy, like me, do our job

Shut up, you class warfare-supporting enemy of the people.

[/sarcasm]

no, you shut up, go watch your michael moore movies about hating america and don't bother me

[/sarcasm]

How 'bout you go step on the backs of hard-working Americans in your fancy suit and take their money away from them like the uncaring, racist, egomaniacal capitalist pig you are! Your opportunistic nature sickens me.

[/sarcasm]

no, how bout you go back to woodstock with your hippie friends and do nothing, while the working americans and the wealthy, like me, do our job. and then you hippies go support the socialist obama

[/sarcasm]

80% of the blacks in the military STILL support Obama.

Yeah, this election isn't about race

Tjeremiah1988

If it were about race, McCain would be way ahead in the polls...

A lot of white people are voting for Obama because he is black.

And just because race is a very important factor in this election, it doesn't mean that everyone is voting based on race. I for one am not voting fro Obama because he has no experience and has very liberal views. For me it has nothing to do with race, but for many black people, it does.

They do more for this country than anyone else. I think we should trust their judgement.

Now you are just being ridiculous. You may not agree with me, but I know a lot about politics.

you said Obama is the first black man to run for president in that Colin Powell thread and numerous stupid and ignorant comments. You basically got destroyed.

If you are going to talk about politics, don't play dumb. I cannot stand people how do that.

You know perfectly well what I meant. Obama is the first black candidate for a major party.

[QUOTE="willtsherman"]go troops! :Dbungie93

Amen

They do more for this country than anyone else. I think we should trust their judgement.

i think what you meant to say was that their actions cost your country more money than anyone else.

look, i understand that they believe in what they are doing, but i don't think i'll be taking political advice from anyone that makes a living with a gun.
