US Will Start World War III By Attacking Iran

Controversial Canadian foreign policy analyst Michel Chossudovsky recently told Russia Today that any military action against Iran will ignite a regional war from the Mediterranean to China. After that, Russia and China will become involved, sparking a global war.

What's more, he says that it really does not matter what Iran says or does. It is not a nuclear power any more than Iraq was a hotbed of weapons of mass destruction. The only thing holding back an attack on Iran is the lack of public support in the US and Europe. Chossudovsky says if the public's mood changes, they're going to war.

The war guarantee is already being set by the US congress. All the Israelis have to do is make the first strike and pull the US in to finish the fight.

With the US giving out war guarantees left and right, a direct attack on the US is not needed to start WW3. Israel could be this centuries Poland and thus drag the world into another global conflict. If the Us want to avoid the same fate of the British empire, they need to stop agreeing to protect nations it knows it cant defend.

Fortunately when the Taiwanese government stated they wouldnt ask the US to go to war with China on its behalf, it nearly brought tears to my eyes. Such courage and foresight on how such a conflict can affect the entire world touches your heart.

Now if only the Israelis could show such resolve and decency.....

I don't think it would spark a world war... if anything it would allow the world to get rid of Iran and North Korea in one fell swoop, so the rest of us can go on with our lives without their delusion claims of destroying everyone. We know no country in their right mind is going to attack the US, so it will be through a War Guarantee that anything starts at all. The US has a habit of paying countries back tenfold. Pearl Harbor = Nukes, WTC = 2 countries reduced to dust, etc...

I don't want to see a war against Iran....nuclear weapons could be involved, and then a nuclear winter likely to affect the whole planet in one way or another.

Who exactly would ally themselves with Iran? No major power in the world wants to fight with the US, and vice versa. It's allied with most of Europe, and China and the US practically depend on each other for trade.

I dont see any nation in the world that could defeat the US if the Americans were fully mobilized and fighting with a ww2 mindset.

Strangely enough, I never quite understood why the US put so much weight behind the criticisms it gets from its western allies. If the US would stop calling out other nations on their human rights violations, the Americans would be free to conduct their military operations with extreme brutality and possibly be more effective. Russia, China, the 4 tigers wouldnt even protest the US methods.

I don't think it would be considered under the current adminstration, maybe under Bush but not the current one, the two wars we're in right now are crippling the economy enough as it is.
