go down underI went to Mount Rushmore in South Dakota this year. Half the fun was driving there and not getting lost along the way! Anyway, I'd recommend it if you're not looking for an exciting destination but would enjoy a nice road trip. ElraptorIt's pretty nice up there, they make you pay to park though. I hate that. I took one of the Cowboy Bus Tour things while I was in the Dakotas, a nice experience.

It was all so tawdry--just a tourist trap. I avoided it completely, and fortunately it was limited to the foothills and outlying areas.

I must admit seeing all the wildlife was very nice, the bison, and even the bison stew was very good. My favorite place in South Dakota was this little town called Castlewood. I come from a decently large city, so I thouroughly enjoy little places like this.
New Jersey. Get a real piece of true American culture.Wilfred_OwenNew Jersey is so American it's ridiculous. RIDICULOUS.
