I went to Mount Rushmore in South Dakota this year. Half the fun was driving there and not getting lost along the way! Anyway, I'd recommend it if you're not looking for an exciting destination but would enjoy a nice road trip.

Is there a limit on the cost or distance? I second the trip to Australia because I'd like to go one day as well. I'd also recommend Paris because it's a beautiful city with many world famous monuments and museums to see and visit. The language barrier is obviously a setback though.

There really isn't a limit to where, not like im paying for it :P

It's pretty nice up there, they make you pay to park though. I hate that. I took one of the Cowboy Bus Tour things while I was in the Dakotas, a nice experience.

I loved the forest scenery, but I hated all the tourist attractions around Keystone. It was all so tawdry--just a tourist trap. I avoided it completely, and fortunately it was limited to the foothills and outlying areas.

I always try to stay away from the big tourist attractions like that. I must admit seeing all the wildlife was very nice, the bison, and even the bison stew was very good. My favorite place in South Dakota was this little town called Castlewood. I come from a decently large city, so I thouroughly enjoy little places like this.

Two weeks? Ireland maybe. Or perhaps Cuba. I want to go so many places that I could never decide. I made a long list of them and gave to someone whom I wished to join me.
