Vice President Debate Tim Kaine vs Mike Pence tonight at 9pm ET

The showdown begins tonight. Democratic Vice President nominee Tim Kaine vs Republican Vice President nominee Mike Pence. Should be a good underrated battle. Wont be as many watching due to both candidates not being well known and considered boring. But should be fun none the less.

Mike Pence will look to attack Hillary and focus on economic issues i believe while Tim Kaine will most likely try to focus on social issues some and go for a more balanced approach. If Mike Pence is wise, hell avoid the social issues and beat around the bush, deflect, etc, but if Tim Kaine is smart, hell nail him down and hold him accountable while pushing for a focus on Hillary's social issues.

Where to watch? Bout all major and minor news organizations should be streaming the debate live online. And of course basic and paid cable will air them also on TV. Many networks have already started discussions, but i think most pre-shows start around 7-8pm.

A good bipartisan site would be C-SPAN. The debate preview starts at 7:30pm ET and of course the debate starts at 9:00pm ET.

I am predicting Kaine asks Pence early on if his mic is ok and Pence will at some point talk about "broad shoulders." Other than that, word is Kaine has been brushing up on tax law, so we can probably guess where that's going.

I don't expect much to come of the debate, probably going to be boring and both sides being more even after all is said and done. Pence seems like a guy who handles himself better in one on one scenarios and debating than Trump ever would. His challenges might being able to defend Trump's comments and play them off as 'nonsense'.

No one cares for Vice Presidency

I'm not even planning on staying awake for this whole thing. I will say that Pence is one evil bastard though. Gay hating, Union bashing, trickle down economics, science denying, right wing nutjob purist. Even the Republican voters in Indiana hate him and he chose not to run again because he knew he would loose. Extremely unpopular in Indiana and that's saying something.

Kaine shut him down nicely on economics. Pence isnt good at answering the question. Dude beating around the bush already.

As far as what I've been reading on the economy and the proposals....Kaine is telling the truth and Pence is lying.

@mattbbpl: Kaine was right in Pence blocking minimum wage in Indiana. He refused to raise it from $5 to $7. Stating it would hurt the poor. Not sure why Pence denied it.
